Rosehip Oil is rich in Omega 3 and 6, essential fatty acids that the body cannot produce itself. Essential fatty acids are needed to repair damaged skin tissue and regenerate skin cells. Kosmea’s Certified Organic Rosehip Oil is guaranteed to contain a minimum of 80% essential fatty acids.
Kosmea’s Rosehip Oil high levels of Vitamin A which slows the breakdown of collagen and elastin and therefore reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and damage caused by ageing and the sun.
Antioxidants are micronutrients that protect tissues in the body from the damaging effects of free radicals. Rosehip oil is rich in a range of antioxidants, including beta-carotene and lycopene which protect and repair skin from the effects of stress, pollution, dehydration and other environmental factors that lead to premature ageing.

As a facial skin oil: Kosmea’s Rosehip Oil is a natural moisturiser and can be used to replace your current moisturiser. However it is also light enough to be used underneath your moisturiser if you have particularly dry and sensitive skin. Apply 2-3 drops into slightly damp skin morning and night after cleansing.
