1. A skincare routine will help you sleep

It is easy to forget to give your skin that little extra care at night before you go to bed. After all we have many distractions to keep us occupied right up until bedtime – streaming channels with binge-worthy shows, social media, and 24×7 news and sports channels.

An evening skincare routine is an opportunity to tell your body to start winding down. Once it becomes a routine, ideally about an hour before you go to bed, it signals to your mind and body that this is the end of day’s activities and prepare you for a more restful sleep.

2. It brings you into the present moment

Committing to a skincare routine will help you develop and practise mindfulness.
